Both Southampton and Fulham are among a string of clubs interested in signing Tottenham defender Cameron Carter-Vickers this summer, a source understands.
Carter-Vickers has spent the season on loan at Celtic, making 42 appearances in all competitions and scoring four goals. The USMNT international has earned rave reviews for his displays in this term, and is in line to secure a League Cup and Premiership double.
Carter-Vickers is set to return to Tottenham at the end of the season where he has just one year left on his contract. A source understands that Spurs do not have plans to integrate him into the first-team squad either, and are open to selling the 24-year-old this summer.
There is plenty of interest in Carter-Vickers with Saints and Fulham the latest sides to enter the race for his signature.
Celtic are also understandably keen to make his loan move permanent, but 90min understands that the allure of regular Premier League football may prove too much for the player to turn down.
The Scottish giants do have an option to buy Carter-Vickers in the summer. However, sources have indicated to 90min that it is far from certain that he would agree to a permanent switch, particularly with interest in him spiking so considerably.
The West Ham side, Crystal Palace, Wolves and Everton are also monitoring the situation, with Carter-Vickers not close to making a decision on his preferred club. The Spurs man is considering his options and will make his choice once the season is over.
